Paul L. Bourgeois, 81, of Goffstown, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara S. ( Makara) Bourgeois with whom he shared sixty- one years of marriage.

Paul was born in Manchester on June 9, 1938 and was the son of the late Leo and Rose (Demers) Bourgeois. Paul was an U.S. Army Veteran and proudly served our country for 10 years. He was employed at Chicopee Mills and Velcro USA until he retired. In his retirement he worked as a Court Officer for the Hillsborough County Sheriff Department.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, making stained glass and he will be remembered for playing Santa Claus at church, work and family gatherings. He enjoyed casino trips with family and friends and special times at his home at Hampton Beach.

Paul is survived by his six children, Timothy Bourgeois and his wife, Melody of Weare, Thomas Bourgeois of Manchester, Joseph Bourgeois and his wife, Claudine of Auburn, Jeffrey Bourgeois of Manchester, Jennifer Farrin and her husband, Richard of Sandersville, GA, and Amy Ireland of Concord, sister Marie Bourgeois and brother Robert Bourgeois, both of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11 AM at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl Street, Manchester. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Manchester.
