Paul S. Bubar, 89, formerly of 665 Dix Street, died April 13, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Linneus, ME on July 1, 1916, the son of John R. and Stella (Sharp) Bubar and had been a Manchester resident for most of his life. He was a graduate of Colby College, Class of 1939 and was a World War II Army Veteran. He worked as a bookkeeper for New Hampshire Supply Company for several years until he retired in 1981. He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Bubar who died in 2003. Family members include his wife of 53 years, Alice (Lambert) Bubar; two sons, David Bubar of Strongsville, OH and Donald Bubar of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. In His Life: He also leaves his three grandchildren, Stephanie Bubar of Tampa, FL, Justin Bubar and Ryan Bubur both of Strongsville, OH. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 2434 Hanover Street on Monday morning from 10 to Noon. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at Noon with a graveside committal service to take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery following the service.
