Paul G. “PC” Cote, 59, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2022. He was the son of the late Robert and Diane (Roy) Cote.
PC was born on May 16, 1963 in Manchester, NH where he spent most of his life. He attended West High School where he was class president and a four-year football quarterback. A big man with a big personality and an even bigger heart, PC brought oversized energy and fun into any situation or gathering. His unbridled sense of humor was well known, and he filled any room or space with his presence and smile. He was an avid sports fan and could always be heard yelling “welcome to Sparta!” at any sporting event. He would frequently be seen on the Patriots jumbotron leading the cheers for his section.
“We are positive” and we will all miss him.
PC owned and operated a successful Kirby Vacuum distributorship and was a consultant for the company for over 20 years. He subsequently had franchises at shop.com and Market America. He was the salesman’s salesman. PC was generous and always lending his great strength and work ethic to friends in need or showing them his love with gifts large and small. A spiritual seeker, he was in the process of moving to Sedona, Arizona to further explore his sacred journey when he was unexpectedly advanced to the next level.
PC is predeceased by his parents, his brother David Cote, aunt Claudette Roy, and his beloved dog MD. He is survived by his brother Richard “Dickie” Cote, his uncle Noah Cote, aunts Lorraine Maguire and Rita Gillitzer and her husband Dennis, many cousins, a close family friend Pam Russell, close friends he knew as “brothers from another mother”, and a great number of friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 7th from 1-3pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
