Paul A. Gosselin, 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his home in Goffstown, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Paul was born November 14, 1939 in New Hampshire and was the son of Joseph and Marie-Jeanne Gosselin. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He later worked for Sander’s Associates, now BAE Systems Inc., in Nashua for 26 years and Segway Inc., in Bedford for 5 years before fully retiring. Paul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and taking short bus trips touring around New England with his wife. He had a very patient and quiet demeanor, yet had a quick wit and great sense of humor, which was contagious. Paul was easily remembered by everyone he met. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Roger Gosselin and by a daughter in law, Estelle Gosselin, and by a granddaughter, Karen Halle.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Rachel, of 61 years, his three children, Linda Burt and her husband Ernest, Michael Gosselin, and Norman Gosselin and his wife Mellissa; a brother, Donald Gosselin; , seven grandchildren; Heather, Michael, Nathan, Christopher, Misty, Crystal, and Jenna, eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Friday, November 18th from 4 to 5 PM with a memorial service at 5 PM in the funeral home chapel followed by military honors. Internment will be private at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at https://www.dana-farber.org/.
