Paul M
Lafond Jr
April 17, 1957 – May 18, 2026
Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium
4:00 - 6:00 pm (Eastern time)
Paul Maurice Lafond Jr passed away May 18,2026 surrounded by his loved ones after years of declining health and continued disappointment in the Miami Dolphins. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country.
Following his time in the service, and a brief stint in prison, he returned home. Paul, with two kids in tow, was lucky enough to meet the love of his life, Cindy, with whom he shared 42 cherished years together. Paul retired from Autofair as the IT director after 30 years of resetting the same passwords over and over and over…
Paul loved spending time with his family and could usually be found working on a stubborn puzzle, telling stories of his times causing havoc with his lifelong best friend, Danny, spending early mornings on the lake with a fishing pole in his hand, or working tirelessly on the endless projects of the family’s Vermont house property. Paul did not love people and would not be the first to strike up a conversation with a stranger, but his quick wit and perfectly timed one-liners could bring tears of joy from belly laughing to those closest to him. Although his circle may have been small it was never without love, laughter and the perfect soundtrack for any occasion, attributed to Paul’s vast collection of music. Paul’s memories will be talked about for decades to come by his 4 children, 1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3, and 4 of 4, also known as Monique, Michael, Vanessa and Danielle. His son-in-law, Phillip and his 5 grandchildren Emelia, Kinsleigh, Wyatt, Walker and Wells.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday May 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover St in Manchester for those wishing to pay their respects and say a final goodbye to Paul.
