Paul A. Lamberti

December 30, 1944 — October 18, 2023

Goffstown, NH

Paul A. Lamberti, 78, of Goffstown, NH passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his residence.

Paul was born on December 30, 1944, in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Peter and Nicolina (Martino) Lamberti. He graduated from St. John's Preparatory School as well as Northeastern University. As a young adult, he spent two and a half years in the Philippines as a member of the Peace Corps.

Paul was a kindhearted, humble, sweet and faithful man, who cherished the Lord and his family. He and his wife Ginny were married for over 49 years. He was passionate about golf and a member of the Intervale Country Club in Manchester, NH.

Prior to his retirement, Paul was a public relations officer as well as a volunteer coordinator at the VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH.  While with the VA, he was privileged to set up patient visitations and programs for notables such as Bob Hope, Johnny Unitas, Irving Fryar, Barbara Bush, Tom Bergeron and others. In 2002, Paul was a recipient of the Maurice L. McQuillen Award for outstanding service to NH veterans.

Paul volunteered as a greeter at church, discipled other men in the church and volunteered as a golf coach with Special Olympics. For over 15 years he and Ginny cared for adults with special needs in their home. After retirement, Paul and Ginny started regularly spending time in Florida during the winter, often spending time with their oldest daughter.

Paul had a great sense of humor and wonderful laugh.  When asked if he wanted to get dessert, he would say, “Mom likes ice cream,” which his family knew really meant he wanted ice cream.  When his daughter would tease him he’d say, “To the moon, Jan, to the moon.” He loved praise and worship music. He also enjoyed watching and talking about sports with his sons. When his children were younger, Friday nights were spent eating homemade pizza and watching a movie from the local video rental store.

Each morning he started his day spending time reading the Bible and other devotional books.  He enjoyed sharing the nuggets of wisdom he learned with friends and family. In recent years he enjoyed watching David Jeremiah - always wanting to learn more about God and grow in his faith.

He had a generous heart and expressed generosity in big and small ways. He would always offer whatever he was eating to whomever he was with, from cough drops to protein bars.  He loved butter and salting everything from salads to well-seasoned steak; yet never had any issues with high blood pressure.

Members of his family include; his wife, Virginia “Ginny” (MacDearmid) Lamberti, Goffstown, NH; Julie Alexandra Lamberti from Bonita Springs, Florida; Matthew Paul Lamberti and his wife, Amy, grandchildren, Bella, Anna and Matthew from Armonk, NY; son, Mark Christopher Lamberti from Goffstown; and daughter, Jana Beth Lamberti Robertson from Holladay, Utah and husband, Judd, grandchildren Karis, Pace, Burke, Decker and Shae; and sister Patricia Harkins from Georgetown, Massachusetts.
