Paul A. Maloney, 49, of Manchester died August 9, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on October 7, 1960 in Manchester, NH the son of Anthony B. and Simone (Carignan) Maloney of Manchester. He was raised and educated in Manchester. Paul was a graduate of Trinity High School. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Paul worked as an over the road truck driver over the years. He also was self employed as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He loved riding his motorcycle. Paul was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He played the harmonica and like being on his computer. Paul was a free spirit who loved to socialize with others. He truly loved his family and friends. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cheryl (Phaneuf) Dixon of Manchester; son, Jeffery of Manchester; three daughters, Heather, Elisha and Allisyn all of Manchester; 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Charles J. Maloney of Manchester and James Maloney of Deerfield and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, on Friday (today) from 6:00 to 9:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at St Joseph Cathedral, Pine St, Manchester.
