Paul Sage, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday at his home, surrounded by those closest to him, following a short illness.

Born and raised in Norton, Vermont, Paul was one of seven siblings and carried with him the values and traditions of his Vermont upbringing throughout his life. He was the son of a close-knit family and shared his childhood with Jeannie (deceased), Jane, Lucille, Richard (deceased), Ron (deceased), and Don.

Paul spent 40 years working as a truck driver for Associated Grocers and proudly served two years in the National Guard. He was a hardworking and dependable man who took pride in providing for the people he cared about.

Above all else, Paul's faith and those he loved meant the most to him. He and his beloved wife, Helen, shared 64 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, commitment, and countless memories.

Paul is survived by his wife, Helen; his daughter, Diane Sage; and his late daughter, Linda Bauersachs, whose husband, Steven, remains a cherished part of the family. Paul was a proud grandfather to Shaina and Carly and great-grandfather to Cade and Alexander.

His presence will be remembered in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the many lives he touched throughout his 84 years.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to the American Heart Association or the ALS Foundation, organizations that held special meaning to him.
