Paul F. Sorel

Paul F. Sorel, of Concord, passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 83 following a lengthy battle with heart disease.

Paul was born in Rhode Island September 13, 1937, one of nine children born to Herman J. and Marie L. Sorel. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic and deeply enjoyed fixing cars. He also spent a short time as an over-the-road truck driver. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, and helping others. His generosity was well known among family and friends. Paul loved spending time with his dog, Mollee.

Paul is survived by his wife, Shirley (Trahan) Sorel, and Shirley's children, Peter Martell and Cathy Martell. He also leaves behind his former wife, Rena Prive Sorel and their three children, Henry Sorel, Michael Sorel, and Brenda Martell, as well as many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
