LITTLETON Pauline R. Benoit, 85, of Grafton County Nursing Home, formerly of Littleton, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH.
A native of Littleton, Pauline was born a daughter to George and Ethel (Parker) Sherman on July 13, 1917. She attended schools in Apthorp.
Pauline was employed for over 30 years at local shoe shops, including Hollys Shoe Factory and Connors and Hoffman Footwear, as a stitcher.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra J. and Charles Hanson of North Haverhill, NH, three grandchildren; Troy and Patricia Dodge, of Haverhill, NH, Kim Riggie of North Haverhill, NH, and Charles Hanson, Jr. of Lincoln, NH; and three great-grandchildren, Jessica Miller-Dodge of Haverhill, Amanda Riggie and David Riggie of North Haverhill, NH. Three brothers and one sister predeceased Pauline.
SERVICES: Family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, April 16th from 1: 00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton, NH with Rev. Thomas Golden officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Special Employee Fund, Grafton County Nursing Home, 3855 Dartmouth College Hwy., No. Haverhill, NH 03774.
