Pauline Rogers Bristol

Pauline R. Bristol, 87, formerly of Brattleboro, VT passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Valley Cares in Townshend. She was born in Bridgewater Corners, VT on August 2, 1929; the daughter of the late Nelson S. and Etta (Read) Rogers.

Pauline graduated from Woodstock High School, Class of 1947. She was employed in clerical and secretarial positions at the Holstein Association in Brattleboro from which she retired in 1992. Pauline loved to square dance and was a member of the Green Mountain Squares. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edwin E. Bristol who died September 14, 2004, a brother, Erwin Rogers; and three sisters, Myrtle McKinstry, Ruth Brown, and Lucy Jillson.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Bristol and his wife Betsy of Hanover, PA and Scott E. Bristol and his wife Christie Campney-Bristol of Maumelle, AR; a sister, Beatrice R. Grover of Brattleboro; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, 57 High St., Brattleboro, VT. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at First Congregational Church of West Brattleboro, 880 Western Ave., Brattleboro, VT. Burial will follow at Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery in Brattleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of West Brattleboro at the address above.
