Pauline Chandler, 64, departed peacefully from this life to be with our Lord Jesus Christ while her family was nearby singing hymns in their home, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Porterville, CA.
She was born November 02, 1961, in Norway, Maine, to the Rev. and Mrs. Oscar R Chandler. She was part of the Central High School Class of 1979. She later attended Gateway College of Evangelism. She worked as a CNA in home health care for 25 years before having to stop working due to impaired vision as a complication from her health. She loved serving her patients and was a favorite caregiver to those who were privileged to be under her care.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Wyatt and her son-in-law William Wyatt; three grandchildren; Bentley age 17, Chandler age 9, and Lois age 2 months. Her endless love for her grandchildren was surpassed only by her love for God. She is also survived by her sister: Cheryl (Chandler) Davis, Leroy Chandler; Mark Chandler and Timothy Chandler and their families.
She enjoyed music, reading (listening to audiobooks), puzzles, games, trying out recipes, shopping, following true crime trials and she especially loved playing words with friends. She stayed busy even when her health did not permit her to be physically active, she would spend time creating systems or documents to help the family and her church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was grateful to meet her newest grandbaby, Lois. She was an accomplished pianist and singer, before the decline of her health, playing for family enjoyment as well as many church-related events. She was a skilled writer of songs including a verse of "I'm Saved" by The Chandlers.
She attended Manchester United Pentecostal Church (now known as the Manchester Outreach on Amory St in Manchester, New Hampshire) for many years, her father being the Pastor of the church and later her brother Leroy Chandler. She currently was a member of Life Tabernacle Apostolic Church of Porterville, California near where she was currently residing. She remained a great help to the ministry including her current Pastor, Rev. Stephen Marchbanks. She continued to be actively involved in the work of the church throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Oscar R. Chandler and her brother, Ronald O. Chandler.
Family and friends may honor her memory at a Memorial service on Monday, August 17, 2026, 7:00 PM at Life Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Porterville, CA. A committal will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, NH on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
