Pauline Corey was born on December 25, 1922, in Passadumkeag, Maine
and lived a full, luminous life.
103 years of making the lives of those around her better. 103 years of bringing laughter into people's lives. 103 years of spreading her love. She was a true gift to this world, and for that, she had the gift of experiencing life longer than most ever get to.
She was a social butterfly, the kind of woman who lit up every room she entered and somehow made everyone in it feel like the most important person there. She sewed with the skill and patience of a master, her hands as creative as her spirit. And she was quick, genuinely quick, the kind of wit that caught you off guard every time. When she really had something to say, she'd let a single, perfectly weighted "Well." do all the work. Sass and warmth in one syllable. You always knew. It was always funny. She made such an impact. Not just quietly in the background. In a shift the room kind of way.
We cherish every memory. We are grateful for every laugh. And we are so grateful we got to call her ours.
Thank you for being you. Thank you for allowing us to feel your love.
