PAULINE M. EATON
LITTLETON, NH Pauline M. (Allbee) Eaton, age 89, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2007, after a long illness, at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Pauline was born a daughter to Amos and Carrie (Jesseman) Allbee, on February 16, 1918, in Landaff, NH. She attended the Landaff Center School and graduated from Lisbon High School.
Pauline worked for several years for the Stanford Seed Company of Oxford, MA, in charge of inventory control and assisted in the sales department. In 1986 Pauline and her husband, Richard, returned to New Hampshire and became involved in senior groups. Among them were the Ammonoosuc Valley Senior Citizens, North Country Senior Action, and the Grafton County Council on Aging. Pauline was a 75 year member and Past-Master of Mount Hope Grange #77. She was also a member of the Ammonoosuc Pomona, Northern New Hampshire Pomona, State and National Grange. She was member of the Past-Master of New Hampshire State Grange, George Clement Installing Team. Pauline was a 4-H leader in Landaff for several years and had several members win county, state, and national awards. She was a long-time member of the Methodist Church.
In recent years she enjoyed visits with family and special visits from her great-grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Eaton, of Littleton, NH; her daughter, Sally and her husband, Clifford Boivin, of Landaff, NH; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
SERVICES Calling hours will be held at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union St., Littleton, NH, on Thursday, March 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
