Pauline Madeline Goddard, 91, of Boscawen passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Pauline (Jo) was born in Berlin, NH January 30, 1927 to Irene (Perry) and Aime Moreau. She attended Berlin High School and lived most of her life in Gorham.
Jo was a loving mother and dedicated to her family. She and her husband Normand traveled extensively during their working years and throughout retirement before settling in Concord. With her family, Jo enjoyed every season New Hampshire offered. She was an avid knitter, golfer, loved camping, traveling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jo cherished time spent cooking for a full house of her dear family and friends and sought out every opportunity to do so. These were precious and unforgettable times for her. Please raise a glass at 4 p.m. to a lovely woman who gave of her heart and lived her life in support of her beloved family.
Jo is survived by her twin sister, Pearl Legere of Berlin, NH; her daughter, Sally Goddard and her partner, Gail Benvenuta of WA; son, Jamie Goddard and his wife, Sharyn of Loudon; daughter, Kelly Clark and her husband, John of Webster; grandchildren, Sandy Mills, Marni Beauchain, Angela Goddard and Autumn Scott; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grand daughter and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jo was predeceased by her husband Normand and three brothers.
A celebration of her life and uniting of the ashes will take place graveside in Gorham, New Hampshire this summer. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Merrimack County Nursing Home, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303. Please make checks payable to the Edna McKenna Trust Fund.
