Pauline V. (Isabelle) Hamel, 70, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on March 27, 1948 in Manchester, NH, daughter of George and Irene (Guimond) Isabelle.

She was the loving wife of Jacques G. Hamel for over 50 years.

Pauline worked for many years as a Medical Records Clerk for Hitchcock Clinic prior to her retirement.

In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and knitting for children with serious illnesses. She also loved cooking for her loving family and friends.

Along with her beloved husband, Jacques, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Andre Hamel and wife Debbie, and Jean-Paul Hamel and wife Jennifer; five grandchildren, Owen, Gage, Heather, Adam, and Caleb; three nieces that were like her daughters; Denise, Annette, and Murielle, as well as many other family members that were so meaningful in her life.

SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. in Manchester, on Saturday, May 12 from 9-11am. A Memorial Service will immediately follow the gathering at 11am, at the Funeral Home. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
