Pauline Paradis Wood, 88, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024 in Exeter, NH. She was born on March 27, 1936 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Albert and Ozalena Lamothe.
A lifelong resident of Goffstown, NH except for her last few years, Pauline stayed home to raise her four children and later on enjoyed Grandma Day every Wednesday with her grandchildren. She also loved her Lake Winnisquam camp in Belmont, NH and all the family memories it provided. She was a volunteer at the American Red Cross in Manchester, NH and became employed with this chapter as a bone marrow courier. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Goffstown.
Pauline leaves behind her son James Paradis and his wife, Denise, her daughter Anne Paradis and her two son-in-laws Lionel Poirier and Jason Record. Too many to name, but equally beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband Aime Paradis (1955–1991) with whom she enjoyed belonging to the Pinardville Lions Club and second husband, Richard Wood (1996–2020) serving as a Granite State Ambassador, daughter Paula Paradis Poirier, son, John Paradise, sister, Vivian Purselley and brother, Albert Lamothe, Jr.
The family thanks the staff and residents at Langdon Place of Exeter for their care, kindness, and friendship. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
