Peggyanne Gorton

Peggyanne (Peters) Gorton – Manchester, NH Age 67 of Manchester, died Saturday February 25th at Elliot Hospital, following a long illness. She was born on November 23, 1938 in Haverhill, MA the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Forest) Peters. She was raised in Haverhill, and had attended Haverhill Schools. She had worked professionally as a seamstress for many years. She was also a homemaker, who stayed home to raise her six children, whom she loved very much. She is survived by her 2 sons, 4 daughters and several brothers and sisters. 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive her. Private funeral services were held on Tuesday February 28th at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematory 243 Hanover Street. A private burial followed in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
