Peter Joseph DiZio, 45, of Manchester, passed away on July 17, 2020 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
He was born in Derry on August 10, 1974, the son of Peter and Alice (Calvert) DiZio. He attended Pinkerton Academy, graduating in 1992. He had been employed as an industrial mechanic for Coca Cola Bottling Company of New England for the past five years. Prior to that, he had worked for 20 years at Osram Sylvania. Peter loved to ride and race motorcycles. Pete also loved trains, but mostly had a love of steam engine trains as he was an engineer at Clark's Trading Post in his teenage years. He was a lover of all animals and had many pets throughout his life. Pete was always meticulous with his cars and motorcycles and always made sure they were in perfect condition.
Family members include his wife of seven years, Shauna (Cote) DiZio; his four-year-old son, Brendan DiZio of Manchester; his parents of Derry; two sisters, Kathleen DiZio of Derry and Ann Falter and her husband Stephen of Attleboro, MA; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM with funeral services to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM.
