Petra Brujic

Petra Brujic, 80, of 118 Brown Road, Candia, died June 2, 2004 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Veliki, Bastaji, Croatia on June 10, 1923, the daughter of Steva and Milka Mackovic and had been a resident of Candia since 1984. Family members include her husband, Dmitar Brujic; a son, Val Brujic of Candia; a daughter, Vera “Vickie” Hess of Braintree, MA; three grandchildren; two sisters, Anka Mackovic of Germany and Saveta Mackovic of Yugoslavia; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation will take place on Monday afternoon from 2 to 3 PM in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Manchester, with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Holbrook cemetery, Candia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Sava Church Building Fund, 33 West Water Street, Wakefield, MA 01880.
