Phyllis P. Lurie, 73, of Laconia passed away peacefully Sunday, November 13, 2016 following a period of declining health.
Phyllis was born in Winthrop, MA on April 18, 1943 to Michael and Mary (Indorato) Esposito. She spent many years working for the City of Chelsea at the Chelsea City Hall in the Parks Department and also worked as a senior companion for a couple of years. Phyllis enjoyed knitting and crocheting and she also loved to cook. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was well known for being a bit of a jokester. Phyllis enjoyed spending time at Revere Beach and cherished moments spent with family and friends.
Phyllis is survived by her grandsons, Jeremy and Gregory Lurie; great-grandson, Gavin Sheffield; and daughter-in-law, Valerie Lurie. She was predeceased by her son, David Lurie, her daughter, Michele Sheffield, her brother, John Esposito and her grandson, Stephen Sheffield.
Phyllis will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery on Washington Street in Everett, MA on Wednesday, 1:00pm December 14th, 2016.
