Pierre M. Emile

Pierre M. Emile, 68, passed away on September 2, 2021 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Pierre was born in Archaie, Haiti on September 9, 1952, the son of Francois and Fannie (Dubois) Emile. He shared 22 years of marriage with Vivianne (Jean-Baptiste) Emile.

Pierre was raised and spent much of his life in Haiti and moved to New York in 1995. He spent many years living in Brooklyn and Queens and more recently was living in New Hampshire. Emile received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked as an accountant for the Haitian government and later with the Department of Social Services in New York City. Pierre found great comfort in his faith and served as an elder and preacher in his church.

Pierre is survived by his wife, Vivianne Emile of NH and NY; his daughters, Geraldine and Bettina Emile of Canada; his step-son, Marvin Magnan of NY; his sisters, Gilda, Laure and Irna Emile, all of NY; his nieces and nephew, Vania, Sophia and Dr. Steve Gordon and Kathy Calixte; and his cousins, Emmanuele Bazelais Honore, Renaud, Anne Marie and Jason Julien; as well as many extended family members and friends. Pierre was predeceased by his son, Yves Benard Emile.

Services will be held on Friday, September 10th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Visitation will be from 9-11am with a funeral service at 11am. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester, NH.
