Manchester- Priscilla T. (Demers) Daigneault, 86, beloved wife of Lorisse R. "Larry" Daigneault, died May 7, 2013 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, following a lengthy illness surrounded by her family.
Born in Manchester on October 21, 1926, she was lovingly raised by her grandparents, the late Edward and Adeliane D'ouville. She was daughter to deceased mother Germaine Ruggeri. Priscilla was educated at St. Patrick's Elementary School and attended West High School.
A dutiful mother of four, her family was paramount in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and took great pride in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren learn and grow. Priscilla loved playing cards, bowling, watching TV, playing board games, dancing and listening to music, most notably, the Glen Miller Band and Bill Haley and the Comets. A kind and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her dedicated husband of 68 years, Priscilla is survived by her children, Dennis Daigneault of Derry, Diane Demers and her husband Andy of Manchester, Larry Daigneault and his wife Sharon of Manchester and Laurie Lamont of Bedford. She was a caring Memere to six grandchildren; Jim, Brian, Aaron, Adam, Ben, and Jessica, and her three great-grandchildren, Cheryl, Ryan and Christian. She is survived by
her loving sister Margery Hoy of St. Louis, MO.
Arrangements: Her funeral will be held from the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester, on Monday, May 13. Visiting hours 8:30 to 10:30 A.M followed by her funeral Mass in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., at 11A.M. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, after the funeral Mass. Friends and relatives invited. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Priscilla's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
