OBITUARY NOTICE RACHEL R. ALLARD Rachel R. (Dion) Allard, 88, of Manchester, NH, and formerly of Auburn, NH, died June 9, 2006 at Maple Leaf Health Care Center, in Manchester. Mrs. Allard was born on February 24, 1918, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Delisle) Dion. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Allard was employed for many years, as a technician at Jewell Electric. Mrs. Allard was an active member of the Auburn Senior Group. Members of her family include; 2 sons, Leo Allard, of Goffstown, NH; Gary Allard, of Hillsborough, NH; 2 daughters, Annette Finn and Linda Browne, both of Bedford, NH; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Marie Lojko, of Nashua, NH; Aurore Villeneuve, of Bedford, NH. IN HER LIFE: In addition, family members include; her daughter-in-law, Irene Allard, of Goffstown, NH; son-in-laws, Richard Finn, and John Browne, both of Bedford, NH; her 9 grandchildren, Tara Campoverde, Ian Finn, Christopher Conway, Derek Allard, Brendon Browne, Chelsea Browne, Scott Allard, Keith Allard, and Jason Allard. Calling hours will be Sunday, June 11, from 5 – 8 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, 10 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, in Bedford. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Augustin Cemetery, in Manchester. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mrs. Allard. Arrangements are under the direction of Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester.
