Rachel L. DeWitt, 59, died on January 11, 2008 at the Elliot hospital after a short illness.
She was born on September 15, 1948 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Francois and Lucia (Boisvert) Boucher.
Mrs. DeWitt was a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH and attended school in the local school system.
She worked as a office clerk for various Transportation companies.
Family members included her husband of 40 years, Michael DeWitt of Manchester; two sons Christopher DeWitt of Candia, NH and Jonathan DeWitt of Bedford, NH; two brothers Marc Boucher of Austin, TX and Francis Boucher of Georgetown, MA; one sister Denise LaBrie of Manchester, NH. Several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
She was predeceased by one son Michael DeWitt II who died in 1975.
IN HER LIFE- She leaves her two grandchildren Dylan and Mason DeWitt both from Candia, NH.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave. Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Manchester. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
Memorial Donation may be made in her name to American Cancer Society 360 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
