Rachel(Chabot) Lefebvre, 83, of Manchester, died April 14, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester, NH on June 28, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lena (Bourque) Glaude. Mrs. Lefebvre resided for seven years in Moosup, Connecticut and also lived in Newport Richy, Florida, and lived most of her life in Manchester, NH. She was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church, belonged to the C.W.V.Auxilliary of Ste. Marie Church and for many years she knitted leprosy dress bandages for the Telephone Pioneers. She was an avid reader and loved playing the organ. Rachel was the widow of Joseph E.G.Chabot who died in 1962 and Edward Lefebvre who died in 1999. Family members include a son, Michael Chabot of Manchester, five daughters; Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Dubreuil, Maureen Chabot, both of Manchester, Mrs. Walter (Linda) Lamy of Mason, NH, Mrs. Richard (Roxane) Howe, Jr., of Lowell, MA., and Mrs. Robert (Christine) Gallagher of Bedford, NH., 11 grandchildren, Brian Dubreuil of Dover, NH, Tina Dubreuil of Brookline, MA., James Chabot, Jeremy Chabot, Kelly Groulx, Angela Groulx, all of Manchester, Jennifer Lamy, Cedric Lamy and Joseph Lamy, all of Mason, NH, Andrew Howe of Lowell, Ma. and Melissa Gallagher of Bedford, NH, three great grandchildren, Olivia Groulx, James Chabot, Jr., and Evan Chabot, all of Manchester, a sister, Mrs. Eugene (Doris) Vadeboncoeur of Newport Richy, Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting hours. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Raphel Church. Encryptment will follow in Mount Calvary Mausoleum. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, is in charge of arrangements.
