Rachel G. (Gagnon) Morin, 82, of 480 Granite Street, died September 21, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on May 28, 1922, the daughter of Adelard and Marieanna (Gaudreault) Gagnon and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had worked as a manager at E & R Laundry until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was the widow of Hermas P. Morin who died in 1982 and was predeceased by a son, David Morin who died in 1992. Family members include three sons, Michael P. Morin of Manchester, Daniel P. Morin of Hooksett and Stephen A. Morin of Manchester; four daughters, Donna LaReau of Manchester, Mrs. Thomas (Elaine) Coughlin of Chester, Mrs. Brent (Patricia) Armstrong of New Boston and Joyce Morin of Manchester; five grandchildren and one great grandson; a brother, Robert Gagnon of Goffstown; a sister, Jeanne Hickey of Goffstown; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
