Rachel Proulx

Rachel Pauline Proulx, 94, of Meredith died Saturday, December 26, 2020 following a short period of declining health.

Rachel was born in Manchester January 19, 1926 to Romeo and Yvonne (Martel) Desrocher. She married Roland Proulx in 1945 and lovingly raised their four children as a full-time homemaker caring for two homes while also assisting in a secretarial role for her husband's business, Roland Proulx Landscaping.

Rachel is survived by her four children, Susan Y Bruce and husband Otis of Center Harbor, NH, Ronald Proulx and wife Suzanne of Manchester NH, Dennis Proulx and wife Michelle of Laconia NH, and Sylvia Heinonen of Palm Beach Gardens Florida, her living sisters Lucille Huard,of Punta Gorda, Florida and Jean LaSalle of Manchester, NH and also predeceased by Bert Desrocher, Roger Desrocher and Georgette LaFleur. Rachel proudly loved and enjoyed 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren, and 4 Great great grandchildren. Rachel was predeceased by her loving devoted husband Roland in June of 2016.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Thursday, June 3, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am at Ste Marie Roman Catholic Church, 378 Notre Dame Avenue with committal following immediately at Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road.
