Ralph R. Bob Simpson, 70, of Manchester, NH, died February 7, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester, NH, on March 17, 1934, the son of the late Fred and Belle (Pearl) Simpson and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. For years Bob was active with the Boys Scout Troop #118 of St. Anthony and also coached the East Little League in Manchester. He retired from the Manchester Highway Department with over 20 years of service. Mr. Simpson was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. Family members include two sons; Michael Simpson of Beaufort, South Carolina and Daniel Simpson of Deerfield, NH, two grandchildren, Keith and Erick; two brothers, Elmer Simpson of Manchester and Ernest Simpson of Florida, a step brother, John Mordant of Manchester, his x-wife, Elaine (Girard) Wyman of Brookfield, NH, many nieces, nephews and cousins. His long time companion, Joan Arel of Manchester. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 OClock in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
