Ramon “Ray” W. Long, 74, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his bedside on Sept 7th, 2026, following a very lengthy & courageous battle with multiple health issues. Formerly of Merrimack, NH, Ray was known by family & friends for his love of cooking and culinary flare in setting out brag-worthy meals. He was an avid reader, U.S. road-tripper and retired from a successful career as a local Real Estate Broker & Investor. Ray & his wife of 45 years, Annemarie, enjoyed retirement together planning trips to Europe, exploring restaurants with friends, and savoring cellared red wine and his favorite scotch!

He leaves behind his loving wife, Annemarie (Lessard) Long, & is survived by his remaining brothers Gordan & wife Lyse Long in CT, Brian & wife Shirra Long in FL, Danny Dupuis in FL, sister & brother in-law Emily (Lessard) & John Griffin in ME, and true partners in crime George Taylor & Kimberly LaFleur in Hudson, along with 2 adult children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

While formal services are not scheduled, Annemarie asks that you celebrate Ray’s memory in your own special way and raise a glass to his well-lived life!
