Ramona Gonzales

Ramona “Delisa” Gonzales, 78, of Bedford, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Bedford Hills Center, in Bedford, NH. 

Delisa was born on September 18, 1943, in Tenares, Dominican Republic, the daughter of the late Celestino and Petronila (Gonzales) de la Cruz.

She was influenced by her family to be a loving, caring woman and incorporated that into all aspects of her life.

Delisa enjoyed cooking, watching movies, taking walks and spending time with her friends and family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She will forever be remembered for her warmth, love, humor, infectious laugh and generosity.

Delisa is survived by her daughter, Milagros Rodriguez and son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Vargas, of Manchester, NH; her stepchildren, Paul “Josian” Rodriguez and Elizabeth Rodriguez; grandchildren, Joseph, Jailyn, Justin and Karen; several nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Lisa Feliz, all of whom she loved dearly. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Bedford Hills Center for their excellent care, compassion and dedication to Delisa. 

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
