Randal A. Gauthier

Randal A. Gauthier, 74, of Manchester, NH died on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his home in Manchester with his wife Sandra of 53 years by his side. 

Mr. Gauthier was born on August 27, 1947, in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Albert N. and Yvonne M. (LaBonte) Gauthier.  Randal graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and attended Northeastern University, University of Lowell, and New Hampshire Vocational Technical College.  Randy enjoyed his work as an engineer, operations manager and part owner at RDF Corporation for over 40 years, prior to his retirement.    

Randy enjoyed many hobbies which included cooking delicious food for his family, reading books, gardening, cruising to the coast in his convertible, riding his road bike all around southern NH and playing golf at Passaconaway Country Club or Derryfield Country Club.  Randy was the Co-founder of Manchester East Soccer League, was the Co-director of Ski School at McIntyre Ski Area and coached his sons in multiple sports. 

Members of his family include his wife Sandra J. (Cunion) Gauthier, of Manchester, NH; two sons, Robert Gauthier, his wife Christine their sons Jon and Max, and William Gauthier, his wife Margret their children Sam, Laurel and Ben, brothers Richard, Roland, predeceased by Raymond Gauthier and sisters-in-law Sheila Bartlett married to Clyde Barrett, Sharon Kerouac, predeceased by Patricia Cody and numerous nieces and nephews. 

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 31, from 6 – 8 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Committal will take place at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bedford, NH.
