Raymond Ferreira

Raymond Ferreira, 76, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, June 21, 2022  at Concord Hospital. 

He was the husband of Catherine Ferreira for 51 years. They married during a private ceremony on June 18, 1971 in York Beach, ME and later celebrated their marriage with family and friends on July 29, 1972. 

Ray spent 22 years of his life dedicated to the United States Military, serving in the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Following his retirement from the military, Ray worked for the Concord, NH School District until his retirement in 2019.

Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. He would often be found relaxing in his favorite reclining chair and watching classic movies with his daughters.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Ferreira, his two daughters, Deanna Bridges (Ferreira), Christina Ferreira, his son, Jamie Ferreira, and his son-in-law Christopher Bridges. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street in Boscawen, NH with Reverend Chuck Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers, a service dedicated to providing mortgage free homes to Gold Star families and families of fallen first responders.
