Raymond G. Furgal, Sr., 60, of 344 Laurel Street, died July 5, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born in Manchester on August 18, 1942, the son of Stanley and Emelienne "Mildred" (Veilleux) (Furgal) Pare and had been a resident of the city for most of his life. He owned and operated Rays Grow and Mow Landscaping Company. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Lafayette Club and the Winona Club. He loved spending time at the beach. Family members include his mother of Manchester; his long time companion, Pamela Pomelow of Manchester; a son, Raymond Furgal, Jr., of Auburn; his daughter; Brenda Lee Furgal of Hagerstown, MD; several grandchildren; three step-daughters, Carol Pomelow of Manchester, Deborah Pomelow and Christine Azoteau both of Goffstown; three brothers, Stanley Furgal and Robert Furgal, both of Merrimack and Ronald Furgal of Manchester; a sister, Judith Lisofsky of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in Ste. Marie Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
