Merrimack, NH - Raymond Anthony Hart III, 60, of Merrimack, passed away December 26, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH.

Born March 13, 1961 in Lynn, MA son of the late Raymond and Barbara (Schmermond) Hart, he grew up in both Lynn and Marblehead, MA. He attended Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, MA and later Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, ME.

Raymond worked for many years as a Warehouse Technician at Braun, Gillette, and Proctor & Gamble in Andover, MA and Boston, MA. He later worked as a Bus Driver for Safeway Transportation, and most recently had been working as a Delivery Driver for Seacoast Delivery, LLC. When not working, Raymond enjoyed traveling to the seacoast with his camera to take snapshots of birds and wildlife.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Raymond A. Hart, Jr. and Barbara (Schmermond) Hart.

Raymond leaves a son, Raymond A. Hart IV and his wife, Jessica of Hooksett, NH. He leaves a brother, Patrick M. Hart and his wife, Leah of Marblehead, MA. He leaves two grandsons, Ethan and Whittaker Hart, and a niece, Claudia Hart.

Donations in Ray’s name may be made to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101 Bedford, NH 03110.

Mindful of COVID guidance, a gathering to celebrate Raymond’s life will be from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH.
