Real Boyer, 69, of Dunbarton, N.H., died unexpectedly on March, 1, 2021 at Concord Hospital in Concord, N.H.
Real was born on July 30, 1951. He was the son of late Leo Paul and Marie Blanche (Tremblay) Boyer. He was the oldest of four siblings.
Real worked in construction, building houses and metal framing for the Carpenters Union. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. His hobbies included snowmobiling, playing the accordion, and spending time with his loved ones. He loved to work on his antique car with his son Danny. He also enjoyed helping his community through volunteer work, which included a musical act to entertain local seniors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Francine Boyer of Dunbarton, N.H.; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Julie Boyer of Pembroke, N.H.; daughter Sonia Plumer of Goffstown, N.H.; grandchildren Collin, Kaitlin, and Jason; brother Christian Boyer of Manchester, N.H.; brother and sister-in-law Maurice and Jocelyn Boyer of Derby, Vermont; sister and brother-in-law Juliette Boyer and Yvon Lemieux of Goffstown, N.H.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, from 4 - 7 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, N.H. Please note, current restrictions limiting funeral home capacity to no more than 50%. Those in attendance are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, 10 am at the Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St. Manchester, N.H. Interment will take place at a later date at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of one's choice.
