REBECCA M. (PILOTTE) DESMOND
DOVER, NH -- Rebecca M. (Pilotte) Desmond, age 87, passed away at home under Hospice care with her family on May 18, 2008.
Rebecca was born on October 1, 1920, a daughter to Edmond and Rose (Paquette) Pilotte in Rochester, NH. She graduated from Littleton High School and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Rebecca was employed as a computer supervisor at Watertown Arsenal. Throughout her life, she lived in Gilman, VT, Littleton, NH, Everett, MA, and most recently Dover, NH. She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and visits with her family.
Surviving family members include her two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Leon Pilotte and Mrs. Paul Pilotte; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her two brothers, Leon and Paul Pilotte, her sister, Rita (Pilotte) Webber, and her husband, James Desmond.
SERVICES Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 21st at 11:30 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 21st at 1:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Marcel Martel as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
