Rebecca Lynn Powers

d. February 27, 2025

Auburn

Rebecca Lynn Powers, 51, passed into eternal life on February 27, 2025, after a period of declining health. She was born on April 14, 1973, at Elliot Hospital, to Linda and Charles Powers. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Her love and kindness extended to family, friends, and all animals. Her gift and love of art, and her creative intuition, contributed to many interesting conversations. She will forever live in the hearts of her family, friends, and her partner, Randall Sanderson of Auburn, NH. Her family includes her mom, Linda Powers and her partner Jon of Manchester; her dad, Charles Powers and his wife Betsy Blanc of Manchester; her sisters Jennifer Champagne of Nashua and Cathryn (Katie) Vachon of Concord; Randall’s children, Madeline, Brendon and Noah; a niece, Allison Champagne, four nephews: Spencer Champagne, Ethan Printz, Benjamin Vachon and Cooper Vachon; and a stepbrother, Bryan Blanc. Rebecca was a graduate of Memorial High School and attended St Anselm College. She studied dance at Manchester Conservatory of Dance until the age of 18. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant, and then Office Manager, at T-Quip Sales and Rentals. She enjoyed swimming, was a swim instructor at the YWCA in Manchester, and worked as a lifeguard at various locations in her teens and early twenties. In her twenties and thirties, she participated in several triathlons. She enjoyed yoga, Pilates and walking. Her beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs, Bella and Zophie, were her walking companions. An avid reader, her love of books began in early childhood and continued through adulthood. Becky will remain in the hearts of all who love her. We are blessed with many happy memories. Becky’s family invites family and friends to join them at Pembroke Pines Country Club in Pembroke, NH, on Saturday March 22, 2025, between 1PM and 4PM, to share memories, stories, and tears. Her family extends gratitude to all members of the medical teams who cared for her at Elliot Hospital and the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to NHSPCA or Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
