Renald O. ''Ronnie'' ''Omer'' Proulx, Jr., 52, of 781 Corning Road, Manchester, died January 22, 2001, at Mass General Hospital, Boston, Ma., after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester on December 10, 1948, the son of the late Renald O. and Rita (Gagnon) Proulx, Sr., and resided in Londonderry for 10 years moving back to Manchester in 1996. He was currently the dispatcher for the Manchester Highway Department where he had worked for the past 31 years. Mr. Proulx was active with East Little League and President of East Little League from 1979 to 1983, he was owner of Astro Sports from 1986 to 1993, coached youth hockey and baseball and was a parishioner of St. Jude Church. Omer was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family members include his wife of 30 years, Denise (Provencher) Proulx of Manchester, three sons, David Proulx and his wife Alison of Hooksett, Kevin Proulx and Daniel Proulx, both of Manchester, one grandson, Brandyn Proulx of Hooksett, three brothers, Paul Proulx, Richard Proulx and Bob Proulx, all of Manchester, an aunt, an uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Friday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Jude Church. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery.
