Renaud J. Doyon
Renaud J. Doyon, 84, of Goffstown, NH passed away December 16, 2013 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 30, 1929, in St. Sebastion, Canada, and was the son of the late Alphonse and Antoinette (Fecteau) Doyon.
Renaud was also raised in St. Sebastion where he stayed until becoming a resident of Goffstown, NH. He was a self-employed logger and then worked for Wallboard Supply in Derry, NH until his retirement. At one time Renaud was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
Renaud loved life and was kind and caring to everyone he met. He was paramount in the lives of his family and will be remembered as a loving, generous, wonderful husband and father. As a passionate outdoors man, he enjoyed cross country skiing, snowmobiling and hunting. He relished the time spent at his camp in Pittsburgh, NH
He is survived by his wife Claire (Lafond) Doyon of Goffstown, son, Danny Farley of Goffstown, his daughter Stephanie Parsons, husband Sean and their children Tyler and Dylan all of Weare, brothers, Velede Doyon and Aurelien Doyon both from Canada, and Luc Doyon from West Stewartstown, NH, sisters, Doris Mailhot from Manchester and Estelle Poirer from Canada, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by both of his parents, his son Kevin Farley, and his brothers, Ronald, Sebastian, Joachim, Julio, Roger, and Nelson. He was also predeceased by a sister Alfredine Bouffard.
Services: A gathering will be held April 11, 2014 from 10am-12pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home at 250 Coolidge Ave Manchester with a service starting at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery at 474 Goffstown Rd in Manchester.
