RENE N. RANNO

LISBON, NH – Rene N. Ranno, 60, passed away peacefully at his home on September 22, 2020 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, with his family by his side.

Rene was born on December 7, 1959 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH, a son to Huguette (Bilodeau) Ingerson and George Ranno. He was raised in Littleton and attended Littleton High School. He moved to Lisbon in 1990 where he resided until his passing.

Rene worked as a logger for many years with J.W. Chipping Corp., which was owned and operated by his stepfather, Douglas Ingerson, Sr., and his mother, Huguette. J.W. Chipping was sold to Douglas (Chick) Ingerson, Jr. after the passing of Rene's stepfather in 1994. Rene then worked for his brother, Douglas (Chick) Ingerson, Jr. at Chick's Sand and Gravel until his passing.

Rene was a quiet, hard working man who preferred to be home, but spending quality time with his daughter, Raina, was most important to him and she was the love of his life, also working with his brother, Douglas (Chick) Ingerson, Jr. and with two of his nephews. He enjoyed fishing when he could, Ice Cold Beer, working with his wood processor, and was a huge racing fan, especially NASCAR.

Rene would help anyone he could and was always by your side when you needed him. He will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Rene was a beloved father, brother, and friend to all.

Rene leaves behind, one daughter, Raina Breen of Fairfield, ME; two sisters, Nina Karlson of Enfield, CT, and Angel (Ranno) Carbonneau and husband, Edward of Littleton, NH; one brother, Douglas (Chick) Ingerson, Jr. and his girlfriend, Vanessa Hines of Dalton, NH; niece Robin McGrath of Lamberville, NJ, nephew Stephen Hopkins of Littleton, NH, nephew Nicolas King of New York State, niece Mary Carbonneau of Woodsville, NH, nephew Stuart D. Carbonneau and his girlfriend, Marisa McCabe of Littleton, NH, nephew Douglas Ingerson III of Dalton, NH, niece Kate Ingerson of Whitefield, NH, nephew Hayden Ingerson of Dalton, NH, and several great nieces and great nephews; and his girlfriend, Beth Sherman of Lisbon, NH.

He was predeceased by his mother, Huguette (Bilodeau) Ingerson, his stepfather, Douglas Ingerson, Sr., his father, George Ranno, and his brother, Guy Ranno.
