Renee Jeannette Thibeault

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Renee Thibeault, age 59. Renee passed peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family and friends on March 14, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Renee was born in Lewiston Maine on November 2, 1962. She grew up in Hooksett New Hampshire with her mother, father, and siblings. Renee graduated from Hesser college and then worked for Attorney Ray Raimo for 40 years. Renee was a diligent worker, and over the years she had several co-workers that became good friends. 

Renee unconditionally, and unselfishly loved her husband Scott, along with her daughters Margaux and Rachel. Renee was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and daughter. She was our best friend and an unwavering constant in many lives. She was always there to gently guide us forward with purposeful hope, perspective, and inspiration. Those of us who were blessed to be touched by her laugh, kindness, compassion, generosity, and love, understand her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts. 

She fought cancer the same way she went about living her life- with fortitude, strength, perseverance, and grace. She was always the first to help others, loved sharing a laugh, and she made the best of everything. She loved spending time at the lake during her “Girl’s Weekends”, and vacationing at the beach with her family and friends. She had a love for gardening, and she would look forward to fresh summer vegetables each year. She also enjoyed the quiet days spent at home with her family and dogs. To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement. 

She is survived by her husband Scott, and two daughters Margaux, and Rachel. Along with her mother Sylvia, and her sisters Debra, Alison, Pauline and Lisa along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who were each loved by Renee dearly. Renee was predeceased by her father Laurier, her three brothers Jeffrey, Michael, and James and her sister Susan.
