RICHARD A. BEYER BEDFORD - Richard A. Beyer, 58, died August 21, 2007, at his home. Mr. Beyer was born on February 27, 1949, in Newark, NJ, the son of Joseph and Margaret (Scheuermann) Beyer. He was a resident of Bedford since 1989. Prior to this, he resided in Granger, IN, North Brunswick, NJ, and Woodbridge, NJ. Mr. Beyer was employed at Raymond James, in Portsmouth, NH as a financial advisor. Prior to this, he worked for New England Advisory Group and Commonwealth Financial. He also worked as a plant manager at Johns-Manville Corporation for 21 years. Mr. Beyer was a member of BC-TV, hosting one show and co-hosting another on the network. He was a former West High School Booster Club President, and was a past member of the Merrimack Exchange Club. Mr. Beyer was very active in coaching Babe Ruth and Little League baseball. In 1993, he helped coached Bedford Little League to the Little League World Series. IN HIS LIFE: Members of his family in addition to his mother include; his wife of 36 years, Mary (Lengyel) Beyer, of Bedford, NH; 3 sons, Richard A. Beyer and his wife, Rebecca Coyne, of Cambridge, MA; Jeffrey A. and his wife Naomi Beyer, of Manchester, Thomas A. Beyer, also of Manchester, 1 granddaughter, Aubrey Rose Beyer, and his mother-in-law, Mary Lengyel, of Bedford, a sister-in-law, Sheryl Beyer, nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Beyer. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday, August 24, from 2 4 P.M. and in the evening from 7 9 P.M., at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Seton, 190 Meetinghouse Road, in Bedford.
