Richard M. CoteManchester, NH - Richard Maurice Cote, 64, of Manchester passed away unexpectedly the morning of Monday, March 8, 2021.
Richard was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada May 21, 1956 to Leopold and Marguerite (Rousseau) Cote. He was educated locally and married Rolande LeBlanc in 1991. Richard enjoyed a long and successful career as an expert drywaller. He was widely known for his quality work in the trade and his services were highly sought after throughout the area.
Richard deeply enjoyed spending his spare time outdoors, whether it be fishing, four-wheeling, kayaking, snowmobiling, or anything of the like. He and his wife made countless trips to Pittsburg to breathe the northern air and take in the beauty of the North Country. Richard was an adoring husband, a generous friend, and a kind soul. He would do anything for anyone, and he will be remembered for his hearty laugh and ability to make people smile.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Rolande S. Cote; his brother, Rene Cote and wife, Diane of Pinardville; and nieces, nephews, and other extended family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Suzor and Daniel Cote, and his mother- and father-in-law, Theresa and Laurent Leblanc.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, March 12th 5:00-6:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 in the funeral home chapel. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral home is limited to 50% capacity and guests are respectfully requested to wear face coverings.
