Richard D. de Langis, 82, formerly of Jensen Beach, FL, died August 18, 2007 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. He was born in Manchester on August 15, 1925, the son of Ernest and Cora (Grenier) de Langis and had resided in Florida for 35 years before moving back to Manchester in 2006. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He owned and operated Granite State Sheet Metal. He was the widow of Theresa (Bouchard) de Langis who died in 2005 and was also predeceased by a son, Daniel Dalton in 2000. He was an avid fisherman and was a certified pilot. Family members include his son, Joseph Dalton of Scarborough, ME; four daughters, Donna Dalton of Key West, FL, Anne de Langis-Thompson of Elmhurst, IL, Theresa de Langis of Exeter and Ricci Allard of Goffstown, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. In his life: He also leaves a brother-in-law, Roland Bouchard of Manchester, along with many friends he made at Hillsborough County Nursing Home and the staff of caregivers who took wonderful care of him, Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 10 to 11, with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel.
