Richard E. Dubois

Richard E. Dubois, 51, of 18 Wentworth Drive, Bedford, died May 18, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Nashua on July 29, 1951, the son of Robert and Rita (Marchand) Dubois and had been a Manchester resident for many years before moving to Bedford 19 years ago. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a CPA and had his own accounting practice in Manchester. Currently, he was President and CEO of Poultry Products Northeast. He was a lifelong member of the north american hunting club and CWV Post 1624. He loved to hunt, fish, ski and play golf. He supported a number of youth organizations in Manchester and was a devoted husband and father. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Family members include his parents of Nashua, his wife of 28 years, Muriel (Major) Dubois; a son, Craig Dubois and his wife Amy (Nickulas) of Hooksett; two daughters, Aimee Dubois and Elise Dubois, both of Bedford; one grandchild; two brothers, Robert Dubois of Merrimack and Raymond Dubois of Weare; a sister, Jo-Ann LaPlant of Nashua; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. After cremation, inurnment will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester Police Athletic League (PALS); the Manchester West High School Theater Knights or to the Boy Scouts Troop 135.
