Richard Willes Exline
BedfordâRichard Willes Exline, 86, of Bedford died March 14, 2011 at his home in Bedford.
He was born in Centerville, Iowa, son of Clarence and Hope Exline and grew up in Southern California. He lived in New Hampshire for the past 45 years.
He was a soldier in the U.S. Army, 37th Engineers, Combat Battalion, and landed on D-Day in Normandy, France on June 6, 1944 and fought through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
He was in the construction business all his life and was also a licensed Real Estate Broker. For many years he owned an industrial
construction company and in 1976 he founded Cannon Real Estate Co,Inc. specializing in industrial property and consulting.
He was in the Lionâs Club for many years and also served as a Committee Man for eight years for Boy Scout Troop 135, Sacred Heart Parish.
Family members include his wife of 48 years, Dolores Pelletier Exline, their daughter Carol Williams of Lynn, MA, and her husband Michael, and a son Richard E. Exline and his fiancée Sue Roy of Manchester, NH. Linda Exline and Debra Exline, daughters from a previous marriage, reside in
New Jersey and California, respectively. His two sisters, Betty Hall and JoAnn Cross and nieces, nephews and grandchildren all reside in California.
Services: At the request of the deceased, there will be no calling hours or funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scout Troop 135 Memorial Fund c/o Sacred Heart Church, 265 South Main Street, Manchester, NH 03102.
