Richard R. Founier, R.P.h., 61, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Moultonborough.
Mr. Fournier was born on April 26, 1946, in Manchester, NH, the son of Real Fournier and Theresa (Mailhot) Bryant. He was a resident of Moultonborough for the past 12 years. Prior to this he resided in Hooksett.
He attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and graduated with the class of 1969. Mr. Fournier was a pharmacist and owner, for 25 years, the Colonial Village, in Contoocook.
Members of his family in addition to his mother, of Manchester, include; his wife of 41 years, Claire (Daneault) Fournier, of Moultonborough; 3 sons, Michael Fournier, of Epsom, NH; David Fournier, of Deering, NH; Marc Fournier, of Chichester, NH; 2 brothers, Peter Fournier, of Weare, NH; Donald Fournier, of Manchester, NH; 3 sisters, Louise Kellerman, of Derry, NH; Jackie Chauvette, of Manchester; Diane Jutras, of Bedford, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
IN HIS LIFE: Other family members include; his daughter-in-law, Tammy Fournier, of Epsom, NH; and his 3 grandchildren, Sawyer Fournier, Michael Fournier, Jr. and Walker Fournier, all of Epsom, NH.
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 2, from 3 - 7 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 AM, at the Parish of the Transfiguration in Manchester. Committal prayers and entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of Mr. Fournier.
