Richard H. Martin

Richard H. Martin, 78, of Bedford, NH, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH. 

Mr. Martin was born on August 15, 1946, in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Roger and Loretta (Boilard) Martin.

He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Martin was employed by the United States Air Force where he worked in military administration.

He enjoyed bowling, going out to eat, listening to music, reading the newspaper, crossword puzzles, watching TV, the Red Sox and Patriots. 

Members of his family include; a daughter, Jan Martin, of Manchester, NH; two sons, Jeff Martin and his wife, Shawna, and grandson, Rylan of Minnesota; Joe Martin and his fiancée, Laura of Minnesota, two brothers, Leonard Martin and his wife, Deanna, John Martin and his wife, Janet, two sisters, Diane Camidge, and her husband, Bruce, Jeanne Szerlog and her husband, Frank, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one brother, Paul Martin, three sisters, Julianne Lavoie, Lucille Martin, and Louise Lynch. 

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 10 a.m. at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, in Boscawen, NH. 

It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or National Veterans Foundation in memory of Mr. Martin.
