Richard A. Hopkins

Richard A. Hopkins, 39, of Bedford died July 15, 2007 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Rick was born on July 6, 1968 in Groton, MA. He graduated from West High School and attended Hesser College where he was studying business management. For the past ten years, he had been employed by the town of Londonderry. He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved to golf. He enjoyed listening to jazz music and was a talented base guitar player. He was a loving son and brother and will be missed dearly by his family and those who knew him. Rick’s quick witted sense of humor will be particularly missed by his brother. Family members include; his mother, Lois (Ratkiewich) Hopkins of Bedford; his brother, Stephen Hopkins of Merrimack; sister, Elizabeth Hopkins of Bedford; and two nieces. There will be a Memorial Reception on Thursday, July 19th from 2:00 until 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 3 o’clock at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street.
